Welcome to Trinity Cathedral

Trinity Cathedral is a sacred place for all people. That includes you!

Whether you’re drawn here by a desire for spiritual growth, a love of music and sacred art, or a passion for the work of peace and justice, we are grateful for your presence at Trinity Cathedral. We encourage you to explore our many ministries, engage with our online content, or learn about the Cathedral and the Episcopal Church here on this site. Click below…or reach out to us to say hello!

This week Trinity is hosting not one but two major civic events. On Wednesday Trinity welcomed a team from City Hall and a group of displaced residents of the Rainbow Terrace apartment complex to work through the difficult process of support and recovery following the fire this summer. We were asked to host this because Trinity Cathedral is a trusted and neutral space where hopefully the work of trustbuilding can continue following a traumatic loss.

Tomorrow night, Trinity will host Cleveland VOTES’ reverse town hall, where community leaders will take the stage and candidates for office will listen. Again, we were asked to host this because of both the facilities we have and because of Trinity’s history of leadership in the community.  I hope you’ll consider being a part of this; if you do, please register in advance through Cleveland VOTES’ website.

It is a coincidence that these things are happening in the same week, and right in the heart of our annual stewardship campaign, but it is also a wonderful expression of how we believe Trinity Cathedral is called to serve the people of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Your generous giving is what makes this possible. This week it will mean hospitality and a place for meaningful dialogue following a traumatic fire, and a space for civic engagement with candidates for office. But it also means – just using this week as an example – bluegrass concerts and choral evensong, Racial Justice Rule of Life conversations, youth service projects, and transformative liturgy.

I hope you’ll prayerfully consider making a pledge to this vital ministry, and if possible to grow in your giving.  Our stewardship campaign concludes next Sunday, October 26th and we’d love to hear from you. If you have not yet made a pledge, I hope you’ll do so soon by returning your pledge card or by making a pledge online.

Your gift allows Trinity to be a voice for justice and dignity in Cleveland. To see that, look no further than the community events that are happening this week.

Faithfully,

BJ+
