Trinity Commons transforms greater Cleveland through programming that inspires, nourishes, and celebrates the image of God in all people. The Commons was built in 2001 as a community-facing event and education venue to amplify Trinity’s ministry while creating a neighborhood gathering space within the cathedral campus.
Trinity Commons
Centered on a central “piazza” that serves as a crossroads for all citizens, Trinity Commons was born in downtown Cleveland as the city began to revitalize its urban core. The Commons preceded the neighborhood’s rebirth as a vibrant university community and contributed to the renewal of the downtown Campus District.
Like many churches, the Commons is a gathering space for support groups, congregational events and as a well-known venue for:
• Retreats
• Community action
• Interfaith events
• Racial equity training
• Monthly gatherings for diverse groups
• Concerts by local and internationally-known artists
• Private events
