Divine Feminine

Mission Team: Faith Formation

This group explores the Divine Feminine Spiritual Path in the journey to expand our relationship with God. In this pursuit, the group engages in prayer, meditation, studying texts, compassionate listening, and simply being present with God and each other.

Crossing the Political Divide

This group explores, practices, and implements strategies to engage in short, regular conversations with those in our lives whose political perspectives are widely different than our own, in the context of those relationships. Each meeting the group will share and discuss how these conversations went and collectively gather insights into best practices.

The purpose is to bridge the fraught divide of political realities with persons in our lives, discover the visions we share, and widen both perspectives. The hope is that these experiences result in awareness of how practicing civil conversations about difficult perspectives can be a positive force in society.

The Gift of the Years

This group is a space to explore what it means to age gracefully with faith and friends. Together, we’ll read, reflect, and take meaningful action, discovering ways to find belonging, purpose, and joy in every stage of life.

Urban Farm

Mission Team: Neighborhood Partnerships

Trinity’s Urban Farm is an innovative urban garden dedicated to sustainable practices, local art, and faithful stewardship of God’s creation. Currently, our harvest goes directly to The Friendly Inn Settlement’s free food pantry program in our neighborhood, making this a true farm-to-table initiative.

Volunteers gather Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. at the farm, located at the corner of E. 35th St. and Cedar Ave., less than one mile from the cathedral. Tasks include planting, watering, nurturing, harvesting, mowing, trimming, weeding, raking and more.

This ministry is supported by Trinity’s Neighborhood Partnership Mission Team.

Sacred Space

A small group that meets to explore a variety of forms of contemplative practice. The purpose is to support one another’s growth in prayer and spiritual practice.

Daughters of the King

Mission Team: Faith Formation
Facilitator: Fran Csoma

The Daughters of the King is a religious order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church and churches in communion with it. Trinity’s chapter was formed in 1936 and reorganized in June 2003. The mission of the order is to be the extension of Christ’s Kingdom through prayer, service, and evangelism. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision as Daughters is to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to reflect God’s love throughout the world. Daughters take a lifetime vow to live by the Rule of Life, by reaffirmation of the promises made at Baptism and Confirmation. Daughters live by the Rule of Prayer, daily prayers including prayers for the prosperity of the parish to which her chapter owes allegiance. Membership is mostly in the United States, with chapters in Africa, Asia, Europe, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean Basin.
