Welcome to Trinity Cathedral

Trinity Cathedral is a sacred place for all people. That includes you!

Whether you’re drawn here by a desire for spiritual growth, a love of music and sacred art, or a passion for the work of peace and justice, we are grateful for your presence at Trinity Cathedral. We encourage you to explore our many ministries, engage with our online content, or learn about the Cathedral and the Episcopal Church here on this site. Click below…or reach out to us to say hello!

Stewardship is the fancy word we use for generous giving, but it means so much more than that: it means all the ways that help something we love to grow, to become healthier and more vibrant, to make a difference in so many people’s lives. Stewardship is what we give, it’s it how offer our skills and support, and it’s how we spend the great gift of our time.

But perhaps the most powerful form of stewardship is even simpler than each of these: when we are present, we are practicing abundant stewardship.

Stewardship is showing up.

I can’t begin to tell you how valuable your presence is, each time we gather for worship, each time we come together for a forum or a bible study or a GCC action. You are practicing robust stewardship simply by being in a seat in church, in a conversation about something that matters, or in our community witness.

Your presence gives Trinity something money cannot: the energy and joy that comes from a church that is that much more complete with you there, and the implicit invitation your presence communicates to anyone walking into Trinity for the first time.

Stewardship season is an opportunity to talk specifically about money, to be sure. But our money-talk is really just a reflection of the wider commitments of stewardship that strengthen our faith and bind us to one another.

Stewardship, dear friends, is showing up. For some that means online, and we are grateful for that. For others, that means lending your voice and your sacred presence to the diverse and beautiful community that gathers within – and beyond – the walls of Trinity Cathedral.

For all the ways you show up, from coffee preparation to choir to community action, from caring for one another to serving in leadership, I am so grateful! Thank you for showing up, and being a part of the eternal song that echoes throughout our Cathedral.

Faithfully,
