Welcome to Trinity Cathedral

Trinity Cathedral is a sacred place for all people. That includes you!

Whether you’re drawn here by a desire for spiritual growth, a love of music and sacred art, or a passion for the work of peace and justice, we are grateful for your presence at Trinity Cathedral. We encourage you to explore our many ministries, engage with our online content, or learn about the Cathedral and the Episcopal Church here on this site. Click below…or reach out to us to say hello!

The Christian life is about opening our hearts and the transformation of our world into something that reflects the image and imagination of God. The vocation of a congregation – be that a cathedral church or a parish community – is to be a sacred community that’s both a setting and a catalyst for meaningful change.

What parts of life at Trinity have the greatest impact on your life? What touches your heart? What inspires you? What opens you to the goodness and grace of the Living God?

Is it prayer and worship?

For some, Holy Eucharist, personal prayer, or the regular devotion of the daily office are vital sources of inspiration and strength.

Is it action in the world?

Do you find that you are most changed through service, advocacy, stewardship, or evangelism?

What about study and learning?

What practices give shape to your life? Do you find that dwelling in the Word, or exploring the way of wisdom and discernment, makes you more loving and faithful?

Is it life in community?

Do you find your heart opened by sacred conversation, companionship over meals, or moments of active listening where courage and vulnerability bear fruit?

Over the next two weeks, I’d like to invite you to share how you experience transformation at Trinity. When you’re at Trinity on Sunday September 8 and 15, you’ll find easels where you can mark those places of congregational life that most touch your heart. (If you’re not able to physically get to Trinity, reach out to me by email and I’ll show you how to add your experience to the conversation).

Transformation doesn’t happen through a program: it comes through life-changing engagement and meaningful relationships. Please lend your voice to help Trinity understand our unique gifts for faithful transformation!

Faithfully,

The Very Rev. Bernard J. Owens
