We are just about to begin an important season in the life of Trinity Cathedral!
Our preparations for renovations to Cathedral Hall—and the fundraising campaign that will support them, along with stained glass restoration and support of the endowment—are proceeding well. Our campaign committee continues to meet every couple of weeks to set goals and make plans, and we look forward to sharing them.
We are now in the midst of what we call the “quiet phase” of the campaign, in which we are connecting with a smaller number of households to gauge our energy and capacity as a congregation and to explore all possible funding routes.
We are actively making plans for a number of spring, summer, and fall gatherings. These small-group settings are where we hope everyone who’s active in the life of Trinity Cathedral will have a chance to offer feedback on the work and prayerfully consider how each of us can contribute.
You can expect an invitation, either in the coming months or later in the year. It will take some time to connect with everyone, so bear with us! And if you’d like to connect sooner with a member of the campaign team or me, we’re happy to do that.
We’ll have a few of those spring gatherings soon, as part of the quiet phase—before we officially launch the campaign in late May—to help us fine-tune our plans. Then, later in the summer, we’ll return to the gatherings and continue our work.
