Welcome to Trinity Cathedral

Trinity Cathedral is a sacred place for all people. That includes you!

Whether you’re drawn here by a desire for spiritual growth, a love of music and sacred art, or a passion for the work of peace and justice, we are grateful for your presence at Trinity Cathedral. We encourage you to explore our many ministries, engage with our online content, or learn about the Cathedral and the Episcopal Church here on this site. Click below…or reach out to us to say hello!

This Sunday we’ll hear from our architects about their ideas for Cathedral Hall! At 9am and 11:15 we’ll see the draft of what the team at Marous Brothers has created based on the feedback they’ve received from the congregation about ways to renovate, restore, and renew Cathedral Hall as a place of hospitality, formation, and ministry.

So many Trinity folks have stayed engaged with this process throughout the summer, and I am very grateful for that. Whether through forums or surveys or conversation with ministry leaders, this essential congregational feedback has enabled our architects to offer designs that honor our history while also creating space that is warm and vibrant for our uses today.

The designs are exciting and offer some surprising nods to Trinity’s history while opening our eyes to ideas that had not occurred to us.  I hope you’ll join us on Sunday to hear the designers enthusiasm for the space and their responsiveness to your feedback. It will also be a chance to offer your thoughts on what you see: this is still just a draft, and the forum is a critical step in the feedback process.  Your input can help shape the final outcome of this work.

I look forward to seeing you on Sunday! We will record the presentation for those who cannot be with us, though I encourage you if you are able to be a part of the conversation in person. This is important work and it relies on robust community conversations!

Faithfully,

The Very Rev. Bernard J. Owens
