Welcome to Trinity Cathedral

Trinity Cathedral is a sacred place for all people. That includes you!

Whether you’re drawn here by a desire for spiritual growth, a love of music and sacred art, or a passion for the work of peace and justice, we are grateful for your presence at Trinity Cathedral. We encourage you to explore our many ministries, engage with our online content, or learn about the Cathedral and the Episcopal Church here on this site. Click below…or reach out to us to say hello!

This Sunday, we celebrate a major day in the life of our congregation. On All Saints’ Sunday, we remember those whom we have lost as we also celebrate the baptismal life to which we are all called. At the 11:15 a.m. service, we’ll baptize two children—both named George!—into the fullness of the life of faith and renew our own commitment to God and to one another.

All Saints’ Day at Trinity Cathedral is a special experience, so I hope you’ll plan to be with us this Sunday. Pro tip: Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour for the end of daylight saving time so you arrive at Trinity on time!

This Sunday we’ll also begin two classes at the formation hour (10:10 a.m.) that will help us explore radical welcome in the Bible, and how we engage civil discourse as both a spiritual practice and an expression of our faith. Bob Fowler will begin a three-week session on Radical Difference in the Bible. I will also begin a three-week session on Seeing the Unseen: Lessons in Civil Discourse, where we’ll explore the spiritual practice of seeing people and perspectives that we’d perhaps missed, and consider a wisdom path that provides a way forward.

At the same time, so much is happening in the background. Music & Art is in full programmatic swing. The midterm election is also very much on our minds: I hope you’re each planning to cast your vote if you haven’t already. And we are also planning several funeral services for beloved Trinity members: Sam Hubish (November 12), Mae Pelster (November 13), and, finally, for Barbara Morton (November 23), who died this past week.

All Saints’ is a feast day...but I find that it’s often a whole season of memory and celebration with opportunities to celebrate the saints in our midst, and to share in the ministry of the Trinity Cathedral.

I’ll see you on Sunday!

Faithfully,
