Time Stands Still — Les Délices

Guest lutenist Orí Harmelin joins beloved soprano Elena Mullins Bailey, Debra Nagy (recorders), and Rebecca Landell (viola da gamba) of Les Délices for Time Stands Still, a new program of music from 17th-century England that urges us to seek solace, hold hope, and create community. We’ll follow a path from John Dowland’s famous lute songs Flow My Tears and In Darkness Let Me Dwell (marking the 400th anniversary of his death in 2026) that leads to Henry Purcell’s beguiling Music for a While and his hope-filled Evening Hymn.
