Adult Faith Formation
For adults, Trinity offers classes, Bible studies, forums, retreats, quiet days, and other events for all ages. Many of our resources are available in person and online.
Oversight for programming is offered by the Adult Faith Formation mission team, which guides people to Jesus and into Christlikeness through sacred conversations, scripture, study, practice, prayer, and spiritual experience.
On select Sundays, the Trinity Forum is an opportunity to hear from local and national leaders in faith, ethics, art, science, education and civic engagement. These interviews with Dean Owens inform the connections between our worship and civic life and bring the voices of community leaders into the Trinity conversation. Audience participation is always a rich part of the conversation. Facilitators offer seasonal and themed bible studies on most Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Participants interested in Confirmation/Reception or a deepening of their faith meet once a month for 6 months to walk through the baptismal covenant, using the lens of Anglican theology. Each… A film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. Small groups are invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race and racism, while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity. The labyrinth is an ancient meditative practice. Many people find that the simple movement of walking the labyrinth’s curving paths allows their minds to become more peaceful and open to the Spirit.
