Trinity is Online

Our Building is Closed…But Our Ministry Continues

Though the Trinity Cathedral campus is closed, Trinity’s mission goes on. It continues with our weekly livestreamed Holy Eucharist services, weekly bible study, podcasts, connectedness to our Cathedral Kids and Youth Group and video messages from our leaders. We continue several of our hunger and outreach ministries like our urban farm, hot lunch program and wall of love which provides clothing and other basic necessities to those in need. Taken together, these components of Trinity Online are specifically made for these days of social distancing and separation.

The news of Ahmaud Arbery’s lynching in Georgia, which took place months ago but just recently came to the attention of many of us. The racial profiling of Christian Cooper in Central Park. The death in March of Breonna Taylor, an EMT shot to death in Louisville by police officers who entered her home. The death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer. All these stories, one would think, would so…
