Monday, September 18, 6 p.m. This special event has grown out of several Trinity members’ interest after participating in the “Tea Time for Peace” programs offered by the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Cleveland & Northern Ohio Chapter (CAIR,). CAIR has graciously arranged a tour of the Grand Mosque of the Islamic Center of Cleveland (6055 West 130 Street, Parma 44130) on September 18 beginning at 6 p.m. Anyone interested can join the Trinity member tour. They will discuss the inconceivable injustice of wrongful criminal convictions. Jim is the former Attorney General of Ohio and one-time advocate of the death penalty. There will be a discussion on changes due to under-utilization and a Vestry 2017 budget mandate. Director of Music Todd Wilson is pleased to announce the addition of Nicole Keller to the staff of Trinity Cathedral as part-time Associate Organist beginning September 1. Nicole has been playing for Trinity’s Wednesday Choral Evensongs this past year and will continue to do so. On May 14 Trinity will once again participate in The Episcopal Church’s United Thank Offering (UTO) campaign. There will be an information table in the Promenade on Sundays. Bring your blue box or envelope with you to church on Sunday, May 14 and place it in the offering plate. Since 1889, when The Episcopal Church Women first collected $87 at General Convention, UTO has been a way for Episcopalians to offer gratitude for the blessings in our lives.
