Dear GCC Strategy Team, Criminal Justice Team, and GCC Leaders:    As discussed at the last Strategy Team Meeting on April 24, GCC is working on a number of levels on the issue of gun violence.  We are part of Metro IAF’s Do Not Stand Idly By campaign. GCC, we are on the edge of a movement that can change education in Cleveland. We have a unique partnership of trust with CEO Gordon, and are building school teams of parents, teachers, principals, students, and neighborhoods. We have had 250 conversations in 12 schools during our 3-month Listening Campaign. At 7 pm on May 15 at Marion-Sterling School, GCC members who are committed to creating quality Education for all will unite with these school bases to Listen, Act, and Win. More details here.

United Power Builds a Greater Cleveland: GCC Assembly May 29th

On May 29th, GCC will assemble 1,000 leaders to call for a direct response to gun violence in Cuyahoga County, and for the end of the practice of overcharging in our Criminal Justice system.
