The Dean’s Corner:  A Bit of Sun, a Bit of Gratitude

The Dean’s Corner

A Bit of Sun, a Bit of Gratitude

This Sunday is our last scheduled outdoor worship service for the fall. Admittedly when we scheduled this (in midsummer), we knew that we would be rolling the dice a bit with scheduling outdoor events in November, but it looks like the weather will break our way for one last fall Sunday worship service. Please let us know if you’re coming, and though the weather will be fine, we are aware that the alert levels in our county continue to remain high.  Because of that we won’t distribute communion, and we encourage you to practice safe distancing from one another.

Last Sunday we concluded our Rooted in Faith stewardship campaign, and I want to thank everyone who has pledged to support Trinity in 2021. So far, we have received 124

pledges totaling $303,144. We know there are a number of folks who have not yet responded, so if you plan to pledge but haven’t done so yet, please let us know as soon as you can so that we can do the work of planning for Trinity’s ministry in 2021. You can easily make a pledge online, or simply return your pledge card to us by mail.  Thank you for your continued support of Trinity’s ministry!

With gratitude,

Collect For an Election (BCP pg. 822)

Almighty God, to whom we must account for all our powers and privileges: Guide the people of the United States (or of this community) in the election of officials and representatives; that, by faithful administration and wise laws, the rights of all may be protected and our nation be enabled to fulfill your purposes; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
