Welcome The Rev. Adrienne Koch | Priest Associate

A Message from Dean Owens

Welcome The Rev. Adrienne Koch | Priest Associate

Dear Friends,

I am excited to share with you that I have called the Rev. Adrienne Koch to serve as the Priest Associate at Trinity Cathedral. She will begin work in early October. Besides sharing in the pastoral and sacramental leadership of our congregation,  Adrienne will have responsibility for Adult Formation as well as Mission and Outreach ministries at the Cathedral. She will also work to cultivate relationships with Cleveland State University.

The Rev. Adrienne KochAdrienne is a Cleveland native and has been living in North Carolina for the past 11 years. She received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Malone College in 2004, with concentrations in Theology, Psychology, and Communications, and her M.Div. from Duke University Divinity School in 2011 with a certificate of studies in Gender, Theology, and Ministry. She completed a two-year non-degree Anglican program for Theological Studies at Sewanee: The University of the South, and is in the process of becoming a Certified Teacher of the Narrative Enneagram.

Adrienne was most recently the Young Adult Missioner and Campus Minister for the Raleigh Area in the Episcopal Diocese of NC and Adjunct Faculty at Duke Divinity School, where she led a first-year spiritual formation group and has previously led practicums in courses on preaching, women in ministry, and Christian spirituality.

Adrienne was formerly a staff member at Duke University Chapel in both communications and administration to the dean. She is excited to continue that cathedral-like work, cultivating connections in Cleveland neighborhoods and on the college campus that surround us.

Adrienne and her wife, Jennifer, will be moving to the Cleveland area this fall with their toddler, Elby, and their old yellow lab, Nevaeh.

Please join me in welcoming Adrienne to Trinity Cathedral and the Diocese of Ohio!
The Very Rev. Bernard J. Owens
