Susan Taft from the League of Women Voters of Ohio was our forum guest at the December 10 Dean’s Forum as. She discussed the Fair Districts = Fair Elections Coalition, a coalition of the League of Women Voters of Ohio, Common Cause Ohio and other “good-government” groups committed to ending gerrymandering in Ohio. The Fair Districts = Fair Elections Coalition seeks to change the way Ohio’s Congressional Districts are drawn with the purpose of eliminating partisan gerrymandering. Susan speaks on the coalition’s effort to put congressional redistricting reform on the November 2018 ballot.
Susan Taft is a retired faculty member from Kent State University College of Nursing and College of Business Administration. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior. She was an academic educator for 30 years. Twenty-four of those at KSU. Since her retirement, Susan has devoted her efforts toward political matters, such as working with the League of Women Voters on the Gerrymandering project in Ohio.
