Trinity Welcomes Nicole Keller as Associate Organist

Director of Music Todd Wilson is pleased to announce the addition of Nicole Keller to the staff of Trinity Cathedral as part-time Associate Organist beginning September 1.

Nicole has been playing for Trinity’s Wednesday Choral Evensongs this past year and will continue to do so. She will also join us for Sunday morning services and other occasions. “In addition to her fine keyboard skills, Nicole is an experienced choral director and a fine soprano,” notes Todd Wilson.

Nicole has just completed a year as dean of the Cleveland Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and is on the faculty of the Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio.

Nicole received the Performer’s Certificate and the Master of Music Degree in Organ Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York under the tutelage of David Higgs. While at Eastman, she studied continuo with Arthur Haas and improvisation with Dr. Gerre Hancock. She received the Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Baldwin Wallace University, studying piano with George Cherry and Jean Stell, and organ with Margaret Scharf.

Trinity Cathedral is most grateful to the several individuals who stepped forth with generous, special gifts to support the Associate Organist position.
