Trinity Cathedral community members are invited to attend an Interfaith Passover Seder at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple in Beachwood, on Wednesday, April 5, 7:00-8:30 pm.
This evening will consist of a retelling of the Israelites’ redemption from Egypt, an explanation of many of the customs related to Passover and their significance, as well as a small sampling of traditional foods used at a Passover Seder (this is not a meal). After the Seder, visitors can tour the building and view the temple’s Judaica collection.
Many Trinity parishioners have attended one of these seders in recent years and found them interesting for young people and adults. Visitors are paired with members of the temple congregation, who will guide them through the evening. The Fairmount Temple congregation is very welcoming, and the event is free.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the origins of our faith traditions and to help our children learn about other religions. If you have any questions or wish to make a reservation, contact Ginger Bitikofer at (216) 774-0407 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, March 29; space is limited.
