Sermon Podcast: Jan. 22, 2017 – The Rev. Ted Curtis

A Sermon by The Rev. Ted Curtis.

The Rev. Ted Curtis, retired Rector of Grace Episcopal Church of Chicago. Curtis served as Trinity’s “Canon Residentiary” from 1987-1991.

Ted Curtis retired in May 2015 as rector of Grace Episcopal Church of Chicago where he served after he left Trinity in 1991. He has served the wider church on the Executive Council of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship, as a reader for the General Ordination Examinations, as an adjunct professor of preaching at Bexley-Seabury Seminary and as a volunteer for Contemplative Outreach.  He has been very involved in urban ministries of housing, hunger, and justice. By happy coincidence, he was the vice-chair of Chicago’s search process that elected Trinity’s Dean Bill Persell as it’s 11th bishop!  Ted and his husband of three years, Al Papillon, live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
