Campaign co-chairs Marie Kittredge and Tony Wesley gave an update on Trinity’s From Generation to Generation capital campaign at the February 12 Dean’s Forum to a crowd of over 40 Trinity members. To date, $1.3M has been given or pledged! Trinity’s generous congregation has contributed just over $1M of this total since the September 2016 campaign roll-out. Solicitations of “Friend / Supporters” and “Institutional Funders (foundations)” segments began in late 2016 and a combined total of just under $240,000 has been raised. Early campaign capital projects were outlined for 2017: a series of life and public safety projects needed for Trinity’s new certificate of occupancy ($367,000) and new sanctuary chairs ($180,000).
Tony summed up the campaign to date, “Our efforts have been guided by the campaign’s watchwords–to inspire , imagine and ignite. And truly, as evidenced by the congregation’s generosity, Gifts Multiply!”
