CLEVELAND — On Sunday, May 8th, Trinity Cathedral will host its first annual “Blessing of the Bicycles” service and a bike rodeo cosponsored by Bike Cleveland.
Cyclists will roll into the Cathedral for special 9 a.m. service honoring Cleveland’s biking community and its role in making the city a more sustainable, vibrant place to live. Following the service will be a bike rodeo in Trinity’s parking lot teaching basic handling, safety, and other essential tips for riders of all ages and skill levels.
Trinity Cathedral dean Tracey Lind is an avid cyclist who recently appeared in a Bike Cleveland campaign. “Cyclists are valued members of our community,” she said. “We are so proud to be partnering with Bike Cleveland in making Cleveland’s streets safer for cyclists and pedestrians.”
Raise awareness of the event by downloading a flyer and distributing it to your community, especially your local bike shop.
