Nick Liao Joins Trinity Cathedral as Communications Manager

CLEVELAND, OHIO – Trinity Cathedral ( is pleased to announce the newest member of its team, Nick Liao. He will serve as Communications Manager, helping to take the Cathedral’s mission, vision, and values into its third century.

Nick-IMG_1822“The bicentennial represents an opportunity to reflect on Trinity’s rich history and to imagine new ways of being the church in the digital age,” he said. “I’m honored and excited to help grow Trinity’s profile as a diverse, socially engaged urban congregation and a leading arts and music institution, both in Cleveland and beyond.”
Mr. Liao comes to Trinity from John Carroll University, where he was Director of Communications and Development for the Ignatian Solidarity Network. Prior to that, he was a news producer and writer for the national PBS show Religion & Ethics NewsWeekly in Washington, D.C. He also formerly worked in the book publishing industry for nearly five years.
Mr. Liao earned his Bachelors of Business Administration with  concentration in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin, which he attended on a National Merit Finalist scholarship. He also received a Masters of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School, graduating magna cum laude.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Nick now calls Cleveland Heights his home, where he lives with his wife, Annie.
