One of several MLK commemoration events in partnership with Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple.

CLEVELAND—The Reverend Dr. Otis Moss, Jr. will preach and teach as we honor the living legacy of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Rev. Moss visits Trinity Cathedral on Sunday, Jan. 19 to guest preach at the 11:15 a.m. service. He is also the Dean’s Forum guest that day at 10:10 a.m. Both the service and the forum are free and open to the public.

The legacy of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is not simply that of non-violent activism against the inherent injustice of discriminatory social systems and institutions but also the attendant need for individuals actively to engage in service to the other.

Joining the Very Rev. Tracey Lind, Dean of Trinity Cathedral, at her Dean’s Forum, Rev. Moss will discuss some of the lasting values or contributions from the life and work of Dr. King; how effective the King model is 50 years later; the role of the church and interfaith in the 1960s and today; and more.
