CLEVELAND—Music and Art at Trinity Cathedral presents a Cleveland Christmastime tradition, the beloved Annual Messiah Sing. The free event will be held Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 12:10 p.m.
Director of Music and Worship Todd Wilson conducts the Trinity Chamber Orchestra, soloists and audience in the massed choir! Trinity’s Messiah Sing includes all the beloved choruses and solos of Part I (the Christmas portion) of Messiah, and concludes with the Hallelujah chorus. Experience the thrill of singing this great music as part of a massed chorus with orchestra!

About Todd Wilson:
Todd Wilson, one of America’s leading concert organists, became Trinity’s director of music and worship March 1, 2011. Prior to that Wilson had been the cathedral’s organist and artist-in-residence since late 2009. A native Ohioan, he was director of music and organist at The Church of the Covenant in Cleveland for 19 years, and continues as head of the organ department at the Cleveland Institute of Music. He is also organ curator of the recently restored Norton Memorial Organ (E. M. Skinner, 1931) in Severance Hall, and is house organist at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens in Akron, where he plays the restored 1915 Aeolian organ. Wilson has been heard in concert in many major cities throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan, including concerts at Symphony Hall (Birmingham, UK), Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Concert Hall, Chicago’s Orchestra Hall, Cleveland’s Severance Hall, Dallas’ Meyerson Symphony Center, and Uihlein Hall in Milwaukee.
