GAY GAMES SERVICES AT TRINITY CATHEDRAL
Aug. 10 & 11
CLEVELAND— All are welcome to Gay Games worship services at Trinity Cathedral – the Episcopal Church in downtown Cleveland – taking place on Sunday, Aug. 10 and Monday, Aug. 11.
Gay Games service with the Bishop of El Salvador
Sunday, Aug. 10 Services: 8 & 10 a.m. at Trinity Cathedral
The Rt. Rev. Martín De Jesús Barahona, Bishop of the Anglican Episcopal Church of El Salvador, will preach at Trinity on Sunday, Aug. 10 at both services: 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
We will recognize Salvadoran and Colombian athletes in town for the Gay Games (Trinity’s LGBT Ministry Team helped raise funds to bring the athletes to Cleveland) as well as any Trinity participants. Small reception will follow the 10 a.m. service.
A Cathedral tour will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Learn about the architecture, art and history of Trinity Cathedral on this docent-led tour.

Gay Games Interfaith Service
Monday, Aug. 11 7 p.m. at Trinity Cathedral
Service features the participation of local, national and international faith leaders. Music, prayers and messages grounded in the values of equality, justice and human dignity will be shared to inspire, uplift and rally the spirits of those gathered. The service will raise positive faith voices, create awareness and promote global solidarity and action in support of human rights, as well as, to join the struggle against homophobia, violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
