“Let Freedom Ring” Bell-Ringing

Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s historic “I have a dream” speech and as part of the national commemoration, the bells will be rung at Trinity Cathedral at 3 p.m. – a half-century to the minute after Dr. King delivered his historic address. If you would like to help us ring the bells, please contact Ginger Bitikofer.

Organized by The King Center in Atlanta and the 50th Anniversary Coalition as well as the Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission and Governor John R. Kasich, participating churches and organizations will take time to remember, reflect and act upon the dream that Dr. King shared with the world 50 years ago.
