Trinity Chamber Singers to Perform at Wells Cathedral in England

The Trinity Chamber Singers will sing daily services at Wells Cathedral in England the week of July 16-22. The choir will sing evensong at 5:15 p.m. each day Monday through Saturday, and will sing three full services on Sunday, July 22 (Choral Eucharist, Matins and Evensong). The chance to sing daily services in this historic and beautiful English Cathedral is an honor and a very special musical opportunity for the Chamber Singers, says Todd Wilson, Trinity’s director of music and worship. “The group looks forward to representing Trinity Cathedral on the other side of ‘the pond’ as we visit our Anglican roots,” he adds.

Wilson will direct the Chamber Singers while Elizabeth Lenti, Trinity’s associate for music and worship, serves as organist. A highlight of the week is the July 19 evensong. Well-known English composer and conductor, Grayston Ives, will conduct while the group performs music he’s written. Learn more about Wells Cathedral at www.wellscathedral.org.uk.
