An Anglican boy from South Korea needs a host family

I place and support international exchange students in homes and schools in our area through CIEE ciee.org/highschool). I am looking for a 2011-2012 host family for a South Korean boy who has not been placed for next year. He sounds like a special young man, and he is Anglican!

Geonhee is a 16 year old boy from South Korea. “I have an effervescent personality. I’m very active.” He enjoys photography, Taekwondo, basketball, soccer, and swimming, He is looking forward to basketball while in the US. He has one older sister. Geonhee attends Ghandi School, an alternative style school with an educational philosophy of nonviolence and community spirit. He is excited to cook traditional Korean food for his host family. GPA: 3.6 Program Length: 10 months Allergies: None

Wouldn’t it be great to have an Anglican boy from South Korea with a philosophy of non-violence and community spirit as part of Trinity’s community next year! Think what a benefit he would be to us and especially our youth group. Think what a benefit we would be to him. That’s why I am asking for your help in finding a host family for him among Trinity’s members and friends. Maybe you could host him! I have other students available for placement if Geonhee is not the right fit.

Contact John Church at jacbvo@gmail.com if interested or if you have questions.
