Alan Medsker – an Episcopalian from the Chicago area, and a member of St. Simon’s in Arlington Heights, Ill. – and a friend are circumnavigating Lake Erie on bicycles beginning Friday, Aug. 8. On past trips, it has been their tradition to find fellow Episcopalians who allow them to spend a night at their homes or in their yards (they travel with self-contained tent campers).
