Trinity’s Cathedral Life team is sponsoring a group outing to see the film “Love Free or Die,” at the Cleveland International Film Festival (Tower City Cinemas), Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. The film is about the life and faith of Gene Robinson, an Episcopal priest, who in 2003 became the first openly gay partnered bishop in Christendom. The screening of the film will be followed by a town hall forum. Tickets are $8 and Trinity has only 20 tickets, but additional tickets may be purchased through the Film Festival. The contact person is Barbara Crouse, barbaracrouse@hotmail.com (please put “CIFF tix” in subject line of your e-mail); Ginger Bitikofer is the staff liaison. Immediately following the film, a forum will be held. Dean Lind is one of four forum panelists. The other panelists include: Macky Alston, director, “Love Free or Die”; Tim Downing, Human Rights Campaign; and The Rev. Bill Johnson, United Church of Christ.
