Fifth graders from Trinity’s neighboring K-8 elementary school, Marion-Sterling have been busy rehearsing for the Annual Colors of the Rainbow Ballroom Dancing competitions as part of the Dancing Classrooms program. Now is the time to come out and support their efforts. The semi-finals are Sunday, May 6, 4 p.m. at Tri-C auditorium (just off 271 at 30th street – easy, free parking in the building). Teams achieving “gold status” move up to the finals on Saturday, May 19, 4 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre in Playhouse Square. Admission is free to both events. “These children need your enthusiastic support,” says Trinity member David Cratty. “Your presence will go a long way in affirming their hard work, good behavior and talent. Plus it is a lot of fun that will put joy in your heart!”
The Campus District Observer talked to some of the students in recent issues. “I thought I was going to hate it but it is cool,” says Adae’ya B. Read part one and part two.
