Trinity’s urban farm leader, Scott Blanchard, reports that water has been restored to Trinity’s Urban Farm as of May 1. The city had contractors install a flush hydrant available for the farm’s use. Earlier in the year, the Plain Dealer’s Michael McIntyre reported on the loss of the farm’s water supply.
Volunteers are always welcome. The urban farm is located at E. 35th and Cedar. Workdays are typically held each Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon but even if you have only 30 minutes to spare, do stop by. This Saturday, May 5, work includes extending some of the raised beds, planting some more spring crops from seed and prepping the rest of the beds on the property for planting.
