Dean Lind’s Holy Ground Exhibit Installed at Trinity Commons

Kiss of Peace by Tracey Lind

In 2004, the Very Rev. Tracey Lind traveled to the Holy Land with a group of Episcopal and Anglican Cathedral Deans from the United States and Canada. They lived at St. George’s Episcopal Cathedral in East Jerusalem and spent much of their time in the West Bank. She and Emily extended their trip as guests of the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, staying in West Jerusalem and travelling throughout Israel.

The exhibit, Holy Ground, is Dean Lind’s way of expressing what she saw and experienced on this remarkable journey. The portraits represent the places she visited and the people she met: Israelis, Palestinians, Europeans, Africans and Americans; Jews, Muslims and Christians; men, women and children from all walks of life.

The exhibit, installed by James Wyman, is now on view at Trinity Commons in the downstairs hallway. Free and open to the public. Click here to learn more about Dean Lind’s photography.
