Notice is hereby given of a congregational meeting to be held Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at 10:10 a.m. in the Nave. The purpose of the special meeting is to approve a by-law change. This will be the only item of business.
CURRENT BY-LAW, ARTICLE III, Section 1:
The Cathedral shall hold annual meetings on a Sunday in January.
PROPOSED BY-LAW REVISION: ARTICLE III, Section 1:
The Cathedral shall hold its annual meeting on a Sunday in May.
If approved, the change would take place immediately and the next annual meeting of the Cathedral will take place in May 2013. There will be no meeting in January 2013. The purpose of the proposed change is to allow Trinity members an opportunity to reflect on an entire program year and to have additional time to prepare financial materials as well as have audited financial statements completed. The meeting requires a minimum of 50 members in attendance.
