Campus Ministry Faith Speak Series: God and Politics in Central America

On Sunday, Nov. 11 and 18 during the 10:10 a.m. education hour, all college students are invited to attend our next session of Faith Speak: God, Politics, and the Conflict in Central America. We will watch parts of the Bill Moyers series “God and Politics” and discuss the role of U.S. religious organizations and missionaries in Central America during the conflicts there in the 1980s. We will also talk more generally about the interaction between politics and protestant Christianity: To what extent should religion be politicized? Are there political duties that bind every Christian? Can Christianity and Communism co-exist? Contact Rev. Sahra Harding for more details: sharding@dohio.org or check out our Trinity on Campus Facebook page.
